KVKK Privacy Notice

KVKK (Law No. 6698) is Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu), which sets the rules for how personal data is processed, similar in purpose to the EU GDPR. Pursuant to the KVKK, as Gökhan Türk (Salkım Çiçekevi), in our capacity as data controller, we explain below how we process your personal data.

Personal data processed
Person placing the order: name and surname, phone number, e-mail address (optional), information required for the invoice.
Recipient: name and surname, phone number, delivery address and address type; at the time of delivery, the name of the person who received it, the delivery time and the photo of the product taken at the place of delivery.
Order information: order contents, delivery date and time, card message, wreath ribbon text, payment method and payment result.
Transaction security: the IP address sent to the payment institution for security purposes during payment.
Your card details are not seen or stored by us; payment is processed on the secure page of the licensed payment institution PayTR.
Purposes of processing
Receiving, preparing and delivering the order; sending you the bouquet photo and the order status.
Receiving payment and carrying out refunds.
Documenting delivery and proving delivery in disputes such as payment chargebacks.
Issuing invoices and fulfilling obligations arising from tax, commercial and consumer legislation.
Responding to your requests and complaints.
Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed based on the legal grounds in Article 5, paragraph 2 of the KVKK: being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (c), fulfilment of a legal obligation (ç), and being necessary for our legitimate interest (f).
No campaign, advertising or commercial electronic messages are sent to you without your explicit consent.
Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above, to the courier/cargo company making the delivery (the recipient's name, phone and address), to the payment institution PayTR (information required for payment), to our accountant (mali müşavir) and, on request, to authorised public authorities.
The servers of the cloud hosting and database service providers on which our website and order system run may be located abroad. These transfers are made in accordance with the safeguards provided for in Article 9 of the KVKK.
Method of collection
Your data is collected electronically through the order form on our website, WhatsApp, phone and e-mail.
Retention period
Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by the relevant legislation (generally 10 years under tax legislation); at the end of this period they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
The product photo taken at the place of delivery is automatically deleted 120 days after delivery; the name of the person who received it and the delivery time are kept with the order record.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred; to request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction where the conditions are met; to object; and to claim compensation for damage.
